Online Law Degree
The Case for Getting a Law Degree Online
It
never would have seemed possible that you could get an online law
degree, but that day has come. Students are working toward that diploma every day, and you can be one of them. Many reputable colleges are offering courses to
help you to that end. Keep in mind, you will not be getting any hands on experience; however, whether you are in
a traditional college environment or getting your law degree online, it will take a while before you have to
worry about that. There is a lot of academics you must tend to before you make any court appearances.
There
is no such thing as a free law school degree online, so you can expect to lay out some funds just as you would
at a conventional college; however, probably not as much. That is because you won't be paying for housing, food,
transportation and other things normally related to getting a college education. The cost of getting an
online masters degree in corporate law is close in both arenas,
online and offline. It is the incidentals that cost more money.
Accredited online law degree programs are available at Concord Law School, a subsidiary of Kaplan
University. Concord offers three doctorates: Juris, Executive Juris, and Small Business Practice. Another is
Taft Law School, presented by the William Howard Taft University.
Taft offers a range of courses from Administrative Law and Sports Law, to Bankruptcy Law and Health Care
Law.
Those
who are not ready for a doctorate yet, may want to pursue a bachelor degree in medical law online. Northwester
California University School of Law offers a Bachelor of Science in Law. The State of California Department of
Education has approved them to issue degrees to graduating students. Or maybe you want to earn a Texas online
law degree. The University of Texas' School of Law at Austin can help you with
that.
The end story is that you can work toward your degree through doctorate or masters degree in
law online programs if you are ready. It is just a matter of which university you want to have on your
resume.
