There are truly a lot of great careers available in the health field and being a doctor certainly isn't the only one. But one thing that is definite, the medical field is growing. Just open the job section of the Sunday paper and look at all the jobs open in the medical field. Some require nursing degrees, some require other types of medical degrees, and some call for administrative degrees. So a bachelor's degree in health information management would put you miles (and dollars) ahead of the rest.
